Hopefully we have answered as many questions as possible or feel free to contact us if your question is not answered below.
How do I book Elvis?
Contact us to check availability. To confirm your booking, we require £50 deposit. Full payment is then required 6 weeks prior to booking date. You are requested to send the following for insurance purposes, preferably scan and email: Driving Licence, (front and back). Postcode. National Insurance Number. Two utility bills with your address (this should be no older than 60 days, have matching address as your driving license and can be either: water, gas, electric, mobile phone, credit card statement, sky bill etc – please black out actual transactions) Driving licence number must also be clearly written in an email. Your details are entered into the UK Government's View Driving Record Service this is all requested from the insurance company and kept on file for 12 months.
If the balance is not paid or the driving license is not provided or has points on it we are not able to let you take Elvis :(
How many can Elvis sleep?
One double bed suitable for two adults and two children’s beds in the pop top (up to the age of 12) An awning is provided with one double sleeping compartment as well as a communal area.
Does the awning attach to the van and can you drive away leaving the awning on the campsite as a freestanding tent?
The answer to both is Yes.
Can you cook in Elvis?
We provide basic cooking equipment to cook in the awning, gas, gas hob, kettle & sauce pans. We have intentionally taken cooking facilities out of the van to avoid fire risks.
What other equipment comes with Elvis?
A picnic hamper with four plates/bowls & cutlery.
Does Elvis have a toilet?
Are there any instructions on how to put up the awning/using Elvis?
Yes Elvis comes with his own manual with pictures! Matt goes through this when you collect Elvis.
Do you deliver Elvis or do we pick him up?
Elvis needs to be collected from Cople, Bedfordshire, MK44 3TJ, UK.
Do I need to allow extra time when picking up Elvis?
Yes allow one hour for Matt to go through all details and for you to do a ‘test drive’ so you are comfortable with driving Elvis.
Do I need to allow extra time when returning Elvis?
Yes, allow an hour to return Elvis and feel free to let us know any feedback of your trip.
How old do I have to be to hire Elvis?
You need to be aged between 25-70.
Do I need a clean driving license?
Yes you need to have no points on your license, this is as per the insurance company.
Can I bring my dog?
No dogs are allowed in Elvis.
Can I smoke?
No smoking is allowed in Elvis, charges will be made for any cleaning required should anyone smoke in Elvis.
